looch lets you pay someone with a credit card or debit card using only their email address. looch doesn’t need their name or address before the payment steps. looch card payments cost 3.3% + 30¢ and can be up to $100,000 per amount. You’ll pay a contact using their email address
Tap Accounting on the dashboard, then tap Pay & get paid.
Tap 'Pay'.
Tap the search button and type the email address of the person or business you’re paying. If they aren’t one of your contacts, the email address appears as its own row.
Tap the email address, then tap 'Pay · 1'.
Enter the amount on 'Payment amount', then tap 'Next'.
Choose a category on 'Payment category', then tap 'Next'.
Enter a memo, or tap 'Add later'.
Tap 'Pay with a card' on 'Source account'.
Keep today on 'Payment date', then tap 'Next'.
Tap 'Next' on the 'Transfer' screen.
Review the 'Card transfer fee' and 'Total charge' on 'Payment review', read the card payment terms, then tick 'I accept the card payment terms'.
Slide 'Transfer', then choose your card and confirm when Apple Pay or Google Pay opens. 'This can’t be canceled' appears under the slider.
What happens after you pay
Once the charge settles, your contact is notified. For an instant payment, use a looch account. Someone who isn’t a looch business receives an email inviting them to onboard. A business that can’t become a looch business can still claim the payment. looch also adds the email address to your contacts.
Card payments have fees and limits
With a card: 3.3% + 30¢, shown on 'Payment review' as the 'Card transfer fee'. From a looch account: Free.
A card payment is charged today and can’t be scheduled for later.
Your card comes from Apple Pay or Google Pay on your phone. You can choose a credit or debit card.
Each amount can be up to $100,000.
