You’ll send a money request to one contact

  1. On the dashboard, tap 'Accounting', then 'Pay & get paid'.

  2. Tap 'Request money'.

  3. Tap the contact to request from. Or type an email address in the search bar, tap it, then tap 'Choose who to request from'.

  4. On 'Request amount', type the amount and tap 'Next'.

  5. On 'Payment category', pick a 'Suggested' category, 'This is a prepayment', or 'Categorize later', then tap 'Next'.

  6. On 'Memo', type a memo and attach any files with the paperclip, then tap 'Next'. Or tap 'Add later'.

  7. Check 'Money request review', then slide 'Send request'.

  8. Confirm that looch shows 'Money request sent'. Your contact gets an email with a link to the portal.

'Pay & get paid' shows 'Choose who to request from' and the contacts list in the looch app.
'Request amount' shows Morrowfen Legal LLC and an amount of $2,750 in the looch app.
'Payment category' shows suggested categories with Income · Services · Recurring selected in the looch app.
'Memo' shows September client retainer, the paperclip, and Your contact will receive both in the looch app.
'Money request review' shows the contact, $2,750.00 amount, category, memo, portal settings, and 'Send request' slider in the looch app.
'Money request sent' shows that the contact received an email with a link to the portal in the looch app.

Money requests go to one contact and are paid in full

  • Each money request goes to one contact or email address.

  • Your contact opens the email link to view and pay the request in the portal.

  • Partial payments aren’t allowed on money requests.

  • Your contact receives the memo and any attachments.
