A Smartcard is a virtual Visa card that works everywhere Visa is accepted. A Smartcard can be switched off right away if its details may be in someone else’s hands. looch blocks charges while the Smartcard is off. looch lets you review recent charges, dispute eligible charges you don’t recognize, cancel the Smartcard permanently, and create a new one.

You can switch off and cancel your Smartcard
In the nav bar, go to Cash, then Smartcards, and swipe to the Smartcard.
Tap the switch on the card so it reads 'Off'.
Swipe the tiles under the card until you reach 'Cancel Smartcard'.
Tap 'Cancel Smartcard'.
Read the 'Confirm' sheet.
Tap 'Cancel Smartcard' to cancel it permanently. looch shows 'Smartcard canceled'.
Open Activity and review the Smartcard’s recent charges.
Open the notes for an eligible charge you don’t recognize, then tap 'Dispute'.
Create a new Smartcard from the '+' card on the Smartcards tab if you need one.
Switching off and canceling have different results
A Smartcard that reads 'Off' can be switched back to 'On'. A canceled Smartcard can’t be used or restored. Smartcards and their controls help you manage business spending.
looch blocks charges while a Smartcard is off. Each blocked charge’s notes read "looch blocked the charge because this Smartcard is turned off."
A canceled Smartcard’s transactions stay searchable in your activity feed by using its tracking tag.
A canceled Smartcard’s tracking tag can be deleted from Tracking tags in the looch menu. An active Smartcard’s tracking tag can’t be deleted.
Executives, meaning the Representative and Executive roles, can always switch a Smartcard on or off.
A Manager can’t switch their own Smartcards. Anyone else needs the Smartcards permission.
Canceling needs the Smartcards permission. You can cancel your own Smartcards or a teammate’s Smartcard when the teammate isn’t an executive.
Questions about lost or stolen Smartcards
Can I turn off my Smartcard without canceling it?
A Smartcard can be switched to 'Off' without being canceled. looch blocks its charges while it’s off, and the Smartcard can later be switched back to 'On'.
Can I get a canceled Smartcard back?
A canceled Smartcard can’t be used or restored. looch marks the card 'Canceled' after cancellation.
What happens to a canceled Smartcard’s transactions?
A canceled Smartcard’s transactions stay searchable in the looch activity feed by using its tracking tag. looch lets you delete that tracking tag from Tracking tags after cancellation.
Can I cancel a teammate’s Smartcard?
looch lets someone with the Smartcards permission cancel a teammate’s Smartcard when that teammate isn’t an executive. looch also requires the Smartcards permission to cancel your own Smartcards.
How do I get a new Smartcard after canceling one?
A new Smartcard is created from the '+' card on the Smartcards tab. looch doesn’t restore a canceled Smartcard.
