How do I pay a business outside the US with looch?

looch sends every payment in US dollars, and a business that doesn’t meet the criteria of a looch business can claim in 57 currencies.

looch lets you pay a foreign supplier, freelancer or contractor outside the US the same way you pay any business. looch sends every payment in US dollars because looch accounts are USD-only. looch shows a local-currency estimate and rate when the contact isn’t a looch business, while the payment stays in US dollars.

looch uses the same payment flow for businesses outside the US

  1. On the dashboard, tap 'Accounting', then 'Pay & get paid', then 'Pay'.

  2. Tap the contact you’re paying, or search by email address or business name, then tap 'Pay · 1'.

  3. On 'Payment amount', type the amount in US dollars. 'FX' shows beside 'Next' when the contact isn’t a looch business.

  4. Tap 'FX', then pick your contact’s currency, or type its name or code in 'Search currencies'.

  5. Read the estimate in that currency and the rate under it.

  6. Tap the swap icon beside the amount to type the amount in your contact’s currency instead. The dollar amount follows.

  7. Tap 'Next' and finish the payment the way you pay any business.

  • looch accounts are USD-only, and every payment from looch is sent in US dollars.

  • The amount shown in your contact’s currency is an estimate. Nothing on 'Payment amount' changes the payment from US dollars.

  • The 'FX' button appears only when the contact isn’t a looch business. Its list contains 56 local currencies.
