looch connects your WooCommerce store to your looch profile through the looch Pay for WooCommerce plugin, a WooCommerce payment plugin. looch uses a QR code scan, so there aren’t any API keys to find, copy or paste. looch lets customers pay by card, Apple Pay or Google Pay at checkout, and looch enters and categorizes every sale in your profile.

Start in the looch app

  1. From the looch menu, go to Online stores, then tap 'Add a store'.

  2. On 'Does your store have a shopping cart?', tap 'It has a shopping cart'.

  3. On 'Which platform runs your cart?', tap 'WooCommerce'. Read the setup steps, then tap 'looch Pay for WooCommerce' to open the plugin’s page, or tap 'Got it!' to close.

Install the plugin in WordPress

  1. In WordPress admin, go to Plugins, then Add Plugin, search for looch Pay, then install and activate the looch Pay for WooCommerce plugin.

  2. Go to WooCommerce, then Settings, then Payments, then looch Pay, and click 'Generate QR code'.

Scan the code and finish connecting

  1. Point your phone’s camera at the QR code on your computer screen, then tap the link that appears.

  2. On 'Is this your store?' in looch, tap 'Connect'.

  3. Confirm that looch shows 'Well done' and the store has the 'Connected' badge under Online stores.

  4. Choose one of your existing tracking tags in the plugin’s settings, then save your choice.

Your store’s setup has a few requirements

  • You need a looch profile and the looch app on your phone.

  • The plugin needs WordPress 6.5 or later and WooCommerce 8.3 or later.

  • The QR code scan connects your store with no API keys, and the store can take payments as soon as the scan completes.

  • A used or expired code needs a fresh QR code from the plugin.

  • Refunds are made from the WooCommerce order screen, as usual.
