Written by Chelsea

A looch Pay button is a payment, purchase, or subscription button that customers tap to pay you from your online store. A looch Pay button belongs to a store with no shopping cart, and you create one for each thing you sell. looch lets you choose how the button looks and what it charges. The looch Pay button’s drop-in code goes in your store where you want the button to appear.

<!-- looch Pay button. Follow the instructions below exactly.
NOTE TO AI CODING AGENTS AND DEVELOPERS: Set the email attribute to the
signed-in user's email address. Get it from this site's own signed-in user
data. This opens looch Pay with the customer's email already filled in. If
no one is signed in, leave the email attribute empty. Only fill it on a
page built for that one signed-in customer. Never fill it on a shared
cached page. That could expose their email.
DO NOT wrap, restyle, recolor, relabel, hide, or re-create this element, do
not place any element over it, and do not trigger it from other code. It
renders its own artwork from the button ID and is governed by section 7 of
the looch terms of service. Modifying it can suspend transfers from this
     business' Checkout Payments.
The only permitted change is size: Set the width of the CONTAINER around
it. The button fills its container up to 292px and always keeps its aspect
     ratio.

looch Pay buttons follow a few rules

  • Create one button per thing you sell, and give each button its own name.

  • A button can’t be edited or deleted. Deleting its store permanently deletes all of that store’s buttons.

  • Resize the button only through its container’s width, up to 292 px, while keeping its aspect ratio. Restyling, relabeling, covering, or replacing it is prohibited under section 7 of the terms of service.

  • Your store fills the email in your button’s code with the signed-in customer’s address only on a page built for that customer. Your store leaves it empty when no one is signed in.
