The Representative is the person who creates the looch profile and has significant control and management of the business. Role descriptions are Executive, “Business partner with full access”; Manager, “Office manager, bookkeeper, controller”; Seller, “Sales & marketing folks”; Employee, “Employees with broad responsibilities.”; and Observer, “CPA, lender, silent or potential partner, etc”.
An observer is a separate profile with visibility into your profile. A Seller’s looch app has a smaller dashboard with 'Get paid' and 'Smartcards', and no looch menu.
Common questions about teammate access
Who can invite a teammate to a looch profile?
The looch Representative and Executives can invite any role. A looch Manager can invite a Seller, an Employee or an Observer.
What does my teammate get when I invite them?
looch sends the teammate an invitation to onboard. A Smartcard configured during the invitation is created when they onboard, turned off with your selected controls, and ready for adjustments before you switch it on.
Can I cancel an invitation I sent?
looch lets you tap the invited email address on Team, then tap 'Cancel invitation'. The confirmation says they can no longer join your profile, can create their own profile with the same email address, and any Smartcards you created for them will be canceled. Tap 'Cancel invitation' again, and looch shows 'Invitation canceled'.
How do I change a teammate’s role in looch?
The looch Representative or an Executive can tap the teammate on Team, tap 'Role', answer the ownership question, choose the new role and confirm. looch shows 'Teammate role changed'. An Observer’s role can’t be changed because an observer is a separate profile with visibility into your profile.
Can a sole proprietor or single-member LLC add an Executive?
A looch sole proprietor can’t invite an Executive into the same profile because that changes the entity type and tax treatment to a partnership, which needs a new profile and EIN. A looch single-member LLC needs a new EIN for the partnership and can choose 'Update my EIN' or 'Apply for a new EIN'.
