How do I move money out of the Card Payments Wallet? | looch

The Card Payments Wallet holds the card payments your business receives through the portal and online store sales from looch Pay. looch moves settled sales in the Card Payments Wallet to Primary Business on their own, for free, daily on a 2-day rolling basis. The Card Payments Wallet also lets you transfer settled or pending card sales to an eligible external account with an instant transfer for 1.5% (min 50¢).

You can send money to an external account

On the dashboard, tap 'Transfer funds'.
On 'Transfer date', keep today’s date and tap 'Next'.
On 'Transfer from', tap 'Card Payments Wallet', then tap 'Next'.
On 'Transfer to', tap the external account, then tap 'Next'.
On 'Transfer amount', type the amount or tap 'Instantly available', then tap 'Next'.
On the speed screen, review 'Instant transfer' and its fee, then tap 'Next'.
Check 'Transfer amount', 'Instant transfer fee', and 'Net transfer' on the review, then slide 'Transfer' and pass device authentication.

The two balances cover different card sales

'Available balance' is settled sales that move to Primary Business automatically.
'Instantly available' includes settled and pending card payments. It’s the most an instant transfer can send.
Card Payments Wallet transfers go only to external accounts that can receive instant transfers, using today’s date.
Each transfer has a $1 minimum and a $100,000 maximum.
An instant transfer can’t be canceled once you slide 'Transfer'.
Tapping the Card Payments Wallet on the dashboard opens its Activity. Money leaving it carries the 'Payout' tag.

Do I have to move my card sales to my bank myself?

looch automatically moves settled sales from the Card Payments Wallet to Primary Business. You can choose an instant transfer when you want to send settled or pending sales to an external account.

How much does an instant transfer from the Card Payments Wallet cost?

A Card Payments Wallet instant transfer costs 1.5% (min 50¢). The review shows the total leaving the Card Payments Wallet, the fee, and the net amount arriving.

Can I send pending sales before they settle?

The Card Payments Wallet lets you include pending sales in an instant transfer for 1.5% (min 50¢). The 'Instantly available' balance shows the most you can send.

Why can’t I pick Primary Business or Tax Stash as the destination?

looch lists only external accounts that can receive instant transfers. The Card Payments Wallet’s available balance already moves to Primary Business automatically, so looch accounts aren’t listed.

Why can’t I transfer from the Card Payments Wallet?

The Card Payments Wallet shows 'Zero available balance' when both balances are zero: You can’t transfer from your Card Payments Wallet when both balances are zero.
